Homework
There will be five homework assignments during the semester.
I don't think we'll do the style of tutorial-review grading
that I tried last semester. Instead let's just do more
traditional submit-grade-return :-)
Goals
Well, the goals for the fall were a work of fiction, so
hopefully this list of topics will correspond more closely
to what we actually cover!

Midterm Exams
There will be two exams.
- Exam 1, date/time TBA,
but it will be shortly after we finish Chapter 3.
- Exam 2, Tuesday, May 6, 1pm - 3pm, Avery 209
Quizzes
Every week except for exam weeks I will give a short quiz at the start of class Friday.
The quiz covers only definitions and statements of results, and is intended to
help keep on up to date with key statements and concepts. There will be more than 10
quizzes, and I will drop your lowest scores.
